Everyone secretly hoping Megan, who has her shit together, is absolutely fucking miserable

A London woman, Megan Wright, 23, has started having a bit of success in her life, and everyone is collectively willing her to be massively unhappy about it.

Caroline Samuels, 23, Megan’s best friend, said: “It started when Megan buckled down and started getting firsts at university, and the whole thing just sort of spiralled out of control.”

“Now she’s landed this comfy job in finance and her office has a gym and everything,” she continued. “What the fuck?”

“Just when I thought things couldn’t get any worse, then she moved out of her mum’s house into a one-bedroom apartment in East Finchley.”

“I’m happy for Megan,” lied Caroline, “but I also hope that deep down she’s regretting all her sensible life choices and selling out, like the corporate whore she is. Well done to her, but fingers crossed that Megan is deeply unsatisfied with all her success.”

“She’d be far happier if she’d pursued a career in a creative field, like me” Caroline concluded, from her bed that she hasn’t left in four days, where this interview took place.
