Kinky! Woman spices up relationship by being the ‘big spoon’

By  |

A Rochester woman has decided that, after five happy years together, it is finally time to take the plunge with her partner and be the big spoon.

“His birthday was coming up, and I’d been thinking about it for a while anyway,” explained Becky Tibbs, 28, “so I thought, why not? You only live once.”

Partner Simon Moss, 28, confessed it was a dream come true. “I’d secretly always wanted to try it, but never had the courage to suggest it. I didn’t want to pressure her. But when Becky said she actually wanted to be the big spoon, I thought I might cry.”

“We talked about it a lot beforehand,” explained Simon. “Planning these things just makes it way more comfortable for both sides. I mean, often the idea of doing it is just way way easier to handle than actually, you know, doing it! It’s all about trust.”

Both Becky and Simon agreed that they were totally prepared to pull out of the exchange if either of them felt uncomfortable at any point. “We wanted to stay safe, above anything else, and we would encourage all couples looking to try ‘spoon reversal’ to do the same.”

“It was so scary,” confessed Becky. “We actually went out for dinner that night and shared a bottle of wine to help us relax, calm the nerves for the later, you know?”

“I will admit it that even after the hours of research and discussion, it did take us a little while to get into the swing of things, especially for me,” said Simon. “I’d definitely try it again though. I think we both got a lot out of it. I actually enjoyed it.”

Simon added: “It’s really brought us closer together. One of the things I’ve always loved about Becky is how adventurous she is. I feel like the luckiest guy in the world!”

With this particular milestone reached, Becky and Simon have been talking about what comes next.

“I think that’ll do us for a few more years,” concluded Becky. “I’ve always wanted to try using tongues, but I think that’s something we’ll have to build up to.”
