Woman shocked boyfriend dated other people before they met

Despite only having met her boyfriend three months ago, a Plymouth woman was horrified to discover that she wasn’t the only person he had ever slept with.

Kelly Fenton, 29, said she discovered 32-year-old boyfriend Mark Stowell’s past during what she thought was an innocent conversation about cheese.

“I was telling him how I’ve never really been a fan of Stilton, when he said, ‘haha, Claire was the same.'”

“I had never heard of this Claire person before, so I was a bit confused when he then explained she was his ex-girlfriend. Apparently, they went out for four years and they even lived together. I mean, WTF?”

“I just don’t understand; he told me I was the most perfect woman ever. Why didn’t he wait?”

Mark said: “There we were laughing about eating mould and the next thing I know, she’s dropped a Boursin on the floor and stormed out of Tesco. She was halfway back to our flat before I managed to catch up with her. I was planning on proposing soon but, to be honest, I’m not so sure now.”

Kelly admitted: “I guess it is a bit hypocritical of me to be disappointed in him. I have had long-term relationships myself with Simon… and Gary… and Tom. I’ll let you know when I’ve figured out how this is different.”
