Note from mum gets Jenny out of Joe Wicks’ PE lesson

By  |

Joe Wicks’ PE lessons have been a must attend for any Thatcherite during the lockdown. That said, sometimes after a heavy night on the Echo Falls, you don’t feel like doing burpees on your mum’s Habitat rug.

Jenny, 29, realised that moving back into your family home and being completely isolated from you peers and your previous life in the city is not without perks. “I woke up feeling a bit rough,” explained Jenny, “I was worried that Mr. Joe would make me do a full work out, but then I remembered I was staying with mum. I went straight downstairs and told her I had a stomach ache.”

Jenny’s mum wrote a letter immediately citing ‘women’s issues’ as the reason for absence and also insisted she had the whole day off to recover. “I sent the letter to Joe, but I haven’t heard back,” she later told Jenny. “I just hope it wont affect your attendance.”
